How I love thee...
Get ready with your barf bags ya'll cause it's a gusher comin' on.
I want to say, "Wow! What a trooper!" But trooper and 40 year old one-kidneyed man in one sentence don't really sit well with my journalistic tastes. So what do I call him?
How about my inspiration? My hero? Our provider. Protector. My Best Friend. Daddy. Husband (said on a whisper). Our family's Guardian. Comedian. Light of our lives...
...the Love of my Life.

I had it in my head that the surgery was tomorrow! I just checked in to find he was doing well without me! :)
Whew - sounds like the Big Shooter is toughing this one out! I'll keep praying for strength and healing.
Sorry to bug you with emails earlier in the week - I thought you still had a few days before surgery!
