I talked to my hubby about some of the comments on yesterday's post. If I ever forget that we are discussing issues and make a personal attack... slap me.
Sometimes my feelings are hurt when my intentions are misunderstood... like I am not a Nazi in anyway.
I get disheartened when people make it personal and start name calling.
I am so grateful that you my dear friend can accept me for who I am even though we do not think alike on everything.
I am thankful for your friendship and oh how I wish I was closer so I could take part in JBF too!
Thanks Ms. Piggy... that's just like you to always think of others.
Sheila -- I'm so sorry you perceived my comments as a personal attack. I was actually referring to the "reporting agency" having a German-sounding name. The Nazi comment was in jest... but I should realize that most people don't appreciate my sadistic sense of humor.
Please accept my apology. I'm sorry I hurt your feelings. Any friend of Ms. Piggy & Lame Shot is a friend of mine.
That was not my intention. In fact, I wasn't even calling YOU pig headed, but rather my perception that this effort is about Obama and not abortion.
To answer your question, I have assisted in one abortion. A very dear friend who was pregnant at 16. I told her what to do, I found the clinic and I drove her there. I might as well have aborted that child myself. To this day, she and I talk about it and know it was a huge mistake. We have asked for forgiveness and fortunatly we have been forgiven. I say again...ABORTION IS WRONG! IT IS MURDER. No one has to try to convience me of this.
As for the hits to my education or lack thereof, it's all a distraction.
Most of the comments left just validate what I believe which is in many cases, not all, but many, these efforts are more about a dislike for Obama than the agenda they claim to be about.
If I was a mature 40, I'd probably just leave this alone. However, I am neither. First, cause I am at a loss how not to take this as name calling: "I don't think red envelopes make a difference, just a statement of pig-headedness toward someone you didn't vote for." Now y'all, if you could ask my fam or friends what will light my fire, one of the first things they'd tell you is "name callin'". And as you all witnessed, it turns me into exactly what I do not care for ~ a smartass looking for a juglar. So secondly, I apologize to y'all for all that crap.
speak before you think, shoot your mouth off half-cocked, eat your share of crow, quiet a room with one itty bitty comment? Well then, let me be the first to say, "Welcome...we must be kin."

Oh thanks! I nearly forgot the time thing!
Well, this turned ugly quickly didn't it?

Love and Peace chicken grease! I'm done.
Excuse me, I went back to double check...it was a hit to my intellect, not my education. Whatever.
