Congratulations Democrats.

I so pray your change will heal our country's wounds.

  1. Me too dear friend. I wasn't surprised that you were the first to Congratulate... it is who you are. I am sorry that at this moment you are sad that your candidate did not win. I was touched by his(John McCain)speech moments ago. I look forward to Obama in minutes.

I will be relieved not to think about the election... every moment of every day.

    Thank YOU for being YOU!!!

  4. Oh don't I hope so too.

I'm in grieving today. No news for us. No radio. No thanks.

Thankfully I live in McCain's home state. A state that he won. So at least when I leave the house I won't be surrounded by gloaters.

  5. I'm sad that Obama's grandma didn't live long enough to see him elected President. She would have been so proud. He did not get my vote, but he did win and will get all my respect during his term as President of our great nation.

  7. I still feel too flat to write or think much about last night's results. That, and I'm keeping an eye on this weather.

  9. Ditto!

I hope all my instincts are wrong about Obama.

And... If we make it four years, I hope Palin becomes our first female president!

By the way... was it coincidence or not? I got the tummy flu as Obama was being announced the new president!

    Smiles,
    Jen
